Manager's First Message

Good Day PLCA Members:   I hope this email finds you all well and enjoying the beautiful end-of-summer weather we have been having.   I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the PLCA Resort Manager. My name is Jennifer (Jenn) Araujo.  I, like you, have history with the park. My in-laws have been members for over 30 years, and I have had the extreme pleasure of watching my own children grow up here. To this day, our family continues to enjoy everything the park has to offer.  In essence, you can count on me to be fully invested in helping this park to flourish!   In terms of communication, my plan going forward is to make every attempt to have open and regular communication with the membership. In that regard, please feel free to email your questions, concerns, or praises (LOL) to me at plca@pigeon.on.ca   Jamie Sweet, our Maintenance Manager, and I will work together as a team to handle all ongoing, scheduled, as well as new, administra...

New Manager Announcement for our Park

Hello Members, The Board would like to share some important organizational and HR developments with our Association. Moving forward, we are thrilled to announce that Jennifer (Jenn) Araujo has stepped into the role of Resort Manager!  Many of you may already know Jenn from her recent work in the office as an administrator. She brings a wealth of experience in paperless business operations and management to the team. Jenn has already hit the ground running alongside Jamie to lead our park in a positive direction—getting things done in long-standing areas of frustration: reconciling our docks, racks, and posts, organizing waiting lists, and making fantastic operational updates to the office. Please feel free to drop by the office to say hello, welcome Jenn to her new role, and see the changes underway. Note on Communications: Going forward, please direct all management-related emails t...
