Update on Management and Board Changes

As a follow-up to our earlier announcement of the resignation of our Park Manager, John Churchill, effective July 11, the Board of Directors would like to add the following additional update for our Members:

1) Our Park and Association continue to be strong and healthy.  Recent management and Board changes have been driven by personal decisions, and we ask the membership to respect the personal privacy of all involved.  At a future time we will announce further details for a proper send off for both Penny Parnell and John Churchill.  Both have been important individuals that have served our Park and Association for decades!

2) Our Office Manager, Katheryne Jackson, has agreed to take on added responsibilities as acting Resort Manager, a position she will hold for the duration of the season.  The Board will be supporting Katheryne with these added responsibilities and seeks the support of all across the Membership during this time.

3) Cody Mullen remains our Maintenance lead, supported by the existing maintenance team, and will continue to receive work assignments through the Office.

4) Board member Peggy Gallella has resigned from the Board and from her position as one of the three elected Board Executives.  Peggy's contributions to the Board include serving 8 years as our Board Secretary.  The Board will continue for the time being with 9 Board members and 2 elected Board Executives:  Bob Gruenhagen and Bill Burrows.  This structure is in compliance with ONCA and our By-laws.

We seek everyone's understanding and patience during these transition moments.

Also, as we are in the process of updating the e-blasts service, please refer to our website within the Members tab "Communication to Members", in the interim, as we seek to gain your consent to move to a new email platform.  In the meantime, please validate your contact information at the Park Office, or complete the Member Information Update Form on the website at the top of the page "Communication to Members".
